The following is a Buffalo Bills Corporate News Release on April 29, 2014.

TIM HORTONS EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP, SPONSORS NEW GATE

Gate naming rights and expanded concession options included in stadium renovations

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Bills have announced a five-year extension with Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop, including the branding of one of Ralph Wilson Stadium’s six new gates.

The Tim Hortons gate will include a one-of-a-kind, three-dimensional Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop coffee cup atop the gate pylon, serving as a landmark for patrons to be completed along with the ongoing Ralph Wilson Stadium renovations by the 2014 season. In addition, LED video board technology at the gate will provide fans with NFL content, gameday information and unique, exclusive promotional content from Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop while entering the stadium.

The renovation will also bring a fan favorite Tim Hortons option to Ralph Wilson Stadium on gamedays.  Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will now serve Timbits at six branded concession stands and will continue to serve its premium blend coffee at various locations around the stadium.

“We know Buffalo Bills fans appreciate a good cup of coffee and we’ve been proud to serve them for more than a decade,” said Mike Meilleur, Executive Vice President, Tim Hortons U.S. “Our partnership with the Bills has been integral to our growth here in Buffalo and is very much part of the fabric of this company.”

“The evolution of this partnership and Tim Hortons unwavering support and dedication to our organization over the past 10 years has been incredible,” said Bruce Popko, Bills Chief Revenue Officer. “Their commitment to the region coupled with a tremendous product offering directly attributes to the loyalty they’ve accrued over the years. We look forward to embarking on this unprecedented venture that will be sure to reward Bills fans for years to come.”

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will also sponsor a new segment on the John Murphy Show and buffalobills.com entitled “Coffee with Coach,” where fans will be able to submit questions to Head Coach Doug Marrone for a chance to win a Tim Hortons prize pack.

Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop remains the “Official Coffee of the Buffalo Bills” and is the only coffee served at Ralph Wilson Stadium.  Their popular in-game promotion, The Monday Morning Blitz, will also continue as a staple of the partnership, offering fans a free medium coffee with their Bills gameday program coupon at any Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurant in New York State on the Monday following the game, if the Bills score two or more touchdowns.
